Starting this fall, Guelph Magic will be holding it's First Guelph Magic Tour season!
The Tour will award points at every Guelph Magic Event that occurs during the school year. The person with the most points come the finale tournement in March will be crowned the Guelph Magic Player of the Year.
The Tour Player of the year will receive a Trophy as well as a Plaque that will be hung at the Dragon to recognize their achievements.
There will be plenty of different tournements offered. The Player of the Year will have to be well-rounded, with a line up of different Constructed and limited events planned, and including Pauper, Auctions, EDH, 2HG, and anything else that pops up.
Each event hands out points respective to the number of players in an event, if you come first in a regular event with 12 people, you'll receive 12 points, if you come second, you'll get 11.
For Premium Events, (events where the formats are 1 v 1 Block, Standard, Extended, or the current Limited draft format), or other wise stated, you'll recieve two times the points regularly given.
For 2HG events, points are given as per the number of TEAMS in the event, but any 2HG will also be a premium event. So first place in a 4 team 2HG event will receive 8 points for each member, the second place team will receive 6 points and so on.
Events listed on the calender will have *Tour Stop* indicating events that counts towards the Tour.
